Original Japanese Title: 喧嘩番長 乙女
Romanized: Kenka Bancho(u) Otome
Translation: Badass Rumble, Otome Version
(Yeah, I’m just going to leave the original localized title for “Kenka Bancho” since it’s part of the series)
I hear the anime just came out for this game! Haven’t watched it yet, but I guess the timing of this review is pretty good. I actually wasn’t planning on writing one but I decided to get off my lazy butt and just do it lol.
Fun fact: I played almost the whole game while I was on my trip in Japan. It seems to have been a good choice to try and get myself back into otome gaming with. I’m already playing my third game for this year, which if you look at my previous track record, is actually a lot of games so far.
If you’re in the mood for a cute game, this is definitely a good one to pick up! Review will be non-spoiler but I talk a lot about the game system in some detail.
Original Japanese Title: 黒蝶のサイケデリカ
Romanized: Kokuchou no Psychedelica
Translation: Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly
This is going to be a non-spoiler review (except for some CGs. There are definitely CGs in here), minus a section at the end which you can skip if you want to avoid spoilers. This is the first otome game I’ve played in a while so I decided to review it even though I hadn’t had the intention of doing so initially.
A lot of other bloggers did a really extensive and fantastic job of doing more detailed reviews revealing the plot so I’m just going to do a general review on how everything unfolded and how the playthrough went for people interested in the game and wanting to know more about it before they decide whether they want to play it or not.
So I’m pretty sure 99% of people are 100% done with this game, but I’m going to keep on reviewing it until the end anyway because in general, I like to finish what I start. Sorry it took so long to get this out m(_ _)m. It really took way longer than it should have considering how short it is. I seem to have a tendency to make shorter things long and longer things short, which doesn’t help matters. Criminal World is really fast to play through so that’s probably why the review ended up coming out rather long (like the Music World one).
I wasn’t exactly avoiding my games, but I looked and I hadn’t really touched this game much since I posted the last AMNESIA World review, so I thought it was time to get back into it, especially since I should probably finish this game soon. My Vita backlog is nothing compared to the PSP one, but if I continue to play at this rate it might become pretty monstrous. I already know that I will definitely not be reviewing every Vita game that came in because I got so far behind.
This is definitely a spoiler review so make sure you’re aware of that before deciding to read.
Here’s Part II of the AMNESIA World reviews. Since scenario was minimal, it should have been faster to translate/give the storyline, but I got held back by the minigames (what’s new?) a little and then just overall lack of motivation to translate (シ_ _)シ
I did the routes in the same order as Normal World and can’t really foresee a change in that in any of the future worlds, actually, so expect it to stay the same.
As usual, this is a spoiler review.
My second Vita game is, pretty much as I expected, the newest installment in the AMNESIA series. I’m a bit wary of how long this franchise will be drawn out, but I still bought the game since this game series holds a special place just because it’s the first PSP otome game I played. People like me are basically the reason why these series can be milked so long, but oh well ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌
I was originally going to do one full review of the whole game, but Normal World on its own came out really long because I was a lot more specific than my previous review so I decided to break it apart. This took longer to get out than expected because I wasn’t able to play much since I had some stuff going on outside of my gaming life that kept me busy, but I won’t get into that because that’s my own thing and certainly not why you’re here. Without further ado, here is the very spoiler-filled review ヽ(=^･ω･^=)丿
So I did end up playing the Bad Medicine Trial because I figured what the heck, it seems like it would be about the same length as ALICE=ALICE, so might as well. Here is the short mostly translated review with the ending commentary on the system and such.
